At the Senior Care Society we know all too well that caregivers are at high risk for stress “burnout” if they approach caregiving without the proper backup and planning this labor of love requires. Although being a caregiver is highly rewarding and one of the most caring gifts one can give to their loved one, it is a very demanding day to day task and without proper support (no one can do this job alone) can even be hazardous to the health and well being of both the caregiver and receiver.
